1. How old is The Help Charitable Trust?

The Help Charitable Trust started on 1st August 2014 when Mr Jinender Jain started teaching children in the slums out of his pocket. Since then it has been a journey focused on bringing about a change that goes deeper than just providing basic education.

3. Does the NGO provide Certificates for Volunteering?

Yes, you can fill out the form given on our website for Volunteering. If selected, you will get a certificate for the work done for the time you volunteer.

5. What are the main events/campaigns of The Help Charitable Trust?

We have been regularly organizing events like Health Camps, Clothes Distribution in Winter, Blood Donation Camps, Self Defence Training for Girls & Women, Plantation Drives, Cleanliness Drives, Campaigns to spread awareness and prevent Child Sexual Abuse, etc. time to time.

7. At present, how many people are benefitting from the various programmes of The Help Charitable Trust?

We have more than 3000 beneficiaries of our Health Camps. Also, till last year, we have given more than 2000 Blankets and Warm Clothes to the people in need. Other than this, during the pandemic, 1200+ people were provided food and all necessary items required by them (On a daily basis, Lunch & Dinner was provided for 2 months regularly; For 1 and a half months, we provided Breakfast with Tea to 500 people).

The Help Charitable Trust and its members have always been driven by the belief that everyone in our society has a right to live a healthy, happy and fulfilling life.

4. What are the areas of work The Help Charitable Trust has worked in?

Our primary area of work is providing quality education to underprivileged children. Apart from that, we work in the field of Healthcare, Environmental issues, prevention of Child Sexual Abuse, Self Defence Training for Girls & Women, organising Blood Donation Camps, and the Cleanliness of our surroundings.

6. What is the source of funding of The Help Charitable Trust?

The Help Charitable Trust runs on funding from our Founder & Team Members and, crowdfunding from generous people of the society who are willing to donate.

You can easily make donations to our organisation from our official website. We are working towards many causes and any amount would be humbly accepted.

11. How is Hamari Pathshala working?

Hamari Pathshala is one of the primary initiatives of our organisation. We aim to educate underprivileged children and provide them with mid-day meals. We have been working towards this cause since the last 5 years and the current strength at Hamari Paathshala is a massive number of 70 students who are given absolutely free education, which is the need of the hour, along with healthy mid-day meals. We also want to inform you that we are strictly against any kind of discrimination based on gender, caste, religion, race, sexual orientation, weight as well as other categories.

13. How does the NGO work for underprivileged children?

Our organisation is a firm believer that education is an important key to a bright future. Thus, we started a small school called Hamari Pathshala, where we impart quality education to children from economically weaker sections of the society and provide them with healthy mid-day meals.

15. How many girls and women have been benefitted through the NGO?

Our organisation has provided free Self Defence Classes to train young girls and women with the help of the Women Wing of Delhi Police. We also provide free education along with mid-day meals to all the young girls to help them achieve their dreams. Apart from this, we help the women in the area raise their voice against Domestic Violence with the help of Delhi Police and also provide counselling where needed.

17. Can one donate in kind (Clothes, Books, Stationery, Health equipments, etc.)?

We have conducted drives to provide underprivileged people with clothes and blankets during Winter and other times of need. So yes, you can donate in kind to help the students and other people in need.

12. What are the awards and accreditations that the NGO has achieved?

Our main motto is to help as many people as we can and we hope to continue doing so. Hence, our organisation is well established and our Founder & President, Mr Jinender Jain, has been awarded several accolades for his generous and undying contributions towards numerous causes.

14. What are your healthcare programs?

Healthcare has always been a priority for us. Due to this, we have organised many Health Camps from time to time and will continue doing so. Here, we aim to provide the people from the underprivileged sections of our society with expert consultancy from Oncologists, Pulmonologists, Ophthalmologists, Dentists, Pediatricians, Physicists and Physiotherapists. Apart from this, we have also organised five Blood Donation Camps to date with the help of Government bodies like Delhi Police and DM, West Delhi.

16. Who all can donate to the NGO?

We accept donations from all verified sources. If you legitimately want to donate, we would surely accept.
